I am a photographer with specialization in fine art and commercial landscape, site and urban photography. With well over a decade of experience as a Landscape Architect in the land development industry and nearly two decades behind the camera, I can offer to my clients the eye of someone who understands the many aspects of their needs. For my clients, I offer photographic services that help them to document, promote and market their properties.
In my personal work, I aim to illustrate the beauty that can be found in any space, no matter the condition. My education in Landscape Architecture has taught me about how people perceive and interact with a space. I believe that, to some degree, humans are capable of understanding the beauty of a space no matter how ugly it may be on the surface. So I strive to point the way through my photography. You will find many photos in my portfolio of classically admired landscapes and structures. But you will also find many examples of ruin resulting from from natural or human destruction. It is, perhaps, these ruins that I love most because there is a story there. I aim to reveal such stories.
Many of my personal photographic works are also available for purchase or for licensing. If you would like to commission my services or if you’re interested in purchasing or licensing any of my works, please feel free to contact me.
I am also the founder and editor of Shutter Photo Magazine which has been a source of inspiration and learning for hobbyist photographers since 2008.
