With my education and experience in Landscape Architecture, I work to create spaces that are traditionally beautiful and habitable.  As a Photographer, I find myself drawn to spaces that are considered ugly or at least overlooked.  Whether I’m designing welcoming spaces or trying to showcase the beauty found in unusual places, I strive to identify and feature the elements that draw us to such a space.

I specialize in fine art and commercial (commissioned) landscape, site and urban photography.  With well over a decade of experience in the land development industry, I can offer to my clients the eye of someone who understands their perspective.  To many of my clients, I’m not just a photographer:  I’m a photographer with the mind of a Landscape Architect.  Many of my personal photographic works are also available for purchase or for licensing.  If you would like to commission my services or if you’re interested in purchasing or licensing any of my works, please feel free to contact me.

I am also the founder and editor of Shutter Photo Magazine which has been a source of inspiration and learning for hobbyist photographers since 2008.

  • 500px – My most current and best works end up at 500px, a photography-centric social networking site

  • Google+ – I have been spending more time on Google+ because of it’s awesome photography community.  However, I’m not as active on Google+ as I am on Twitter.
